Not me. . . . . although I will happily bask in the sun when I can . . . .but this anemone.
I love these beautiful flowers and believe it or not the wild ones are in full bloom in January each year. There is a place I know where there is an olive grove whose floor that covered with these gorgeous flowers every Winter . . . .such a beautiful sight.
This one is actually a garden variety that pops up in the garden each Spring. It really did seem to be enjoying the sunshine, hence the title.
So this is my entry today over at Photo Art Friday http://www.pixeldustphotoart.com/

ReplyDeleteFancy your actually having these around in the wild. Carpeting a forest floor, that must be breathtaking. Don't forget to treat us to shots of a whole fieldful next spring.

Are these what the trade calls 'de Caen' you think? I tried growing them in a tub, but they never did well. I like your muted treatment of this beauty.

ReplyDeleteHi everyone, thank you all so much for taking the time to post comments on the blog . . .each one is very much appreciated. Normally I would try and get back to you all but I've got huge telephone problems at the moment ....storms have brought down the line and I'm having to park myself at a wifi cafe so my online time is very limited. Hopefully in a few days all should be back to normal . . .Love Teresa xx
